Significant Changes and Amendments in the New DGR book.
Some of the Changes to the new DGR 65th Edition are based on the IATA Dangerous Goods board and addenda issued by ICAO 2023-2024 Technical Instruction.
The Changes in this edition are found in Section 2 LIMITATION; where battery-powered wheelchairs or mobility aids have been revised through a note. Some other changes are in subsection 2.8 State and Operator variation where the list of states and operators is revised and added.
Further Changes in Packing Instructions Section 5 of the new DGR where the following instructions are revised; 952 and 954.
In Section 6 requirements for UN Specification Marking are clarified. Section 7 marking and labeling has changes related to Dry ice where adding Dry ice net quantity is a mandatory requirement when packing in an overpack.
A new note has been added to the Documentation section, Section 8 of DGR
Changes in Appedicies and especially the addition of ADG- Aviation DG Training School in Section F IATA CBTA centers
